Bayer CropScience Seal Scan is a free utility application developed by Bayer AG for Android devices. This app offers farmers a quick and easy way to check the originality of Bayer Crop Science products, including CP products and Seeds. The app works in conjunction with the Bayer Safety Seal, which has a QR-Code that can be scanned using the Seal Scan App.
The Seal Scan App provides an immediate response about the authenticity of the product by scanning the QR-Code on the Bayer Safety Seal. Additionally, for bottled products, a broken Safety Seal indicates that the bottle has already been opened. However, the app only provides an indication and does not guarantee the authenticity of the product as manipulation cannot be completely excluded.
